Together with the embedded SAP team, you are responsible for SAP application management : - You take the lead in solution ideation, you capture business requirements, you translate these to technical needs, you assist in implementing them and you make sure the value is delivered as well as keeping the solution and environment running and technically sound; - You bring expertise in process domains (SAP SD, MM, PP, WM); - You work on small to medium size projects as an analyst, project lead or subject matter expert in his domain; - You have daily contact with Business analysts, IT shared services and several business partners; - Weekly/Monthly you have contact with management members and IT leads. You report to the Business Unit Relationship Manager IT on a daily basis. Major Tasks: - Responsible for application maintenance and the development of systems; - Managing key user demands and IT delivery of solutions, liaison with 3rd parties on issue resolution; - Lead small or medium size IT projects; - Responsible for EDI support and development and liaison with 3rd party EDI provider and internal providers; - Responsible for compliance to corporate IT standards for non-plant systems. University degree in ICT, Applied Economics, Business Administration or equivalent through experience; 5 to 7 years experience in business & IT; Knowledge and understanding of business processes in a manufacturing environment; 1 to 3 year(s) SAP expertise with functional Application Maintenance and Development; Experience with EDI implementation; Knowledge of IT security and IT controls; Dealing with ambiguity and a keen sense of priorities; Fluent written and spoken English and another Western European Language (NL, FR, ES, DE); SAP or major ERP expertise in two or more areas: sales and distribution, purchasing, contracting, warehouse and production management; Compelling and clear communicator, influencing and negotiating skills; Ability to work with technical teams and end users; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent team-oriented interpersonal skills; Ability to manage demand; Able to lead small project teams; Experience working in international environment.
